![]() ![]() ![]() and you can watch the guys in the kitchen flipping up the dough, they'll let little kids drag over a chair to reach the window to watch too so its really great for families. this is the kind of pizza that everybody's comfortable and familiar with. the toppings available are your standard pizza fare, there's nothing fancy going on here, no brie and salmon with capers, not even the usual spinach and artichoke that kicked off that whole 'gourmet' pizza trend. for me a pizza is nothing without that perfect crust thats not too crunchy or too soft and glutinous, their crust is perfect. but this is the one place that i make the (monthly) dreaded trip across that parish line for. like most people who live in new orleans i'd rather have a tooth pulled than go to metairie, especially veteran's blvd. The meatballs had just the right breadcrumb to meat ratio for my taste. Served with a very fresh piece of French bread. The spaghetti and meatballs were also a winner. I messaged a friend of mine after we ordered who loves this place, and told her we were dining here. We decided to split a small artichoke salad, the Tower Supreme Pizza, and an order of spaghetti and meatballs. There’s enough pressure and decisions to be made in life. Just do a few things but do them right! They also only have ONE house salad dressing. They won’t hand you a menu when you’re seated because it’s posted on the wall for everyone to see. If you happen to be a New Orleans Saints, or Louisiana State University football fan, you can shop for sports paraphernalia before or after your meal. It’s located in a small strip mall right next to the Black & Gold and Purple & Gold store. Tonight we happened to be in the pizza mood and in the area, so we decided to stop in. ![]() This place is on the very busy main drag through Metairie, so I’ve driven past it countless times. ![]()
